体育资讯07月08日报道宣 魔术官方宣布，球队与班凯罗达成了提前续约，根据球队政策，续约细节不能公开；
根据此前名记Shams的报道，双方达成的是一份5年2.39亿美元的指定新秀提前续约。
新合同的2030-31赛季是球员选项；
因为魔术给班凯罗的是一份“指定新秀”的提前续约合同，因此，如果班凯罗在2025-26赛季当选MVP或夺得DPOY或入选年度最佳阵容，他的指定新秀提前续约合同金额还将增加数千万，总薪资将达到5年2.87亿美元。
班凯罗是2022年选秀状元，2023年当选年度最佳新秀，2024年入选全明星。
2024-25赛季，班凯罗为魔术出战46场常规赛，场均攻下25.9分7.5篮板4.8助攻；季后赛5场，班凯罗场均砍下29.4分8.4篮板4.2助攻。
